Artist Statement:
I grew up on a tobacco farm in Williamsburg County South Carolina, and since childhood I’ve loved to look at the land. There is a sensuality found in the South Carolina landscape that is incredibly unique. After spending many years in the Northeast learning to paint, I was eager to return to the South and paint the land that is my home.
